Blackberry App World

Research in Motion, maker of the popular Blackberry smart-phone has released its application store on April 1, 2009 right on schedule. The aptly named “App World”, which conjures up images of Amusement Parks in my head, is RIM’s response to Apple’s app store available on the iPhone and iPod Touch.

App World not only offers apps at a cost, but also lists popular free software available for download. Payments will be accepted through Paypal which already has popularity from being the most used payment checkout on eBay.

I have installed the app store today and it was a breeze. Stay tuned to oneGtA because in the next few days I will have a more in depth review after I have had a chance to explore all of its features.
